MACHINING

DKS Machining currently has CNC Milling, Manual Milling, Turning, Surface Grinding, Sawing, Drilling, and Lapping equipment. CNC Milling up to 40” x 120” x 30”/635mm x 1250mm x 500mm with 5th Axis.  Surface, cylindrical, centerless, Blanchard Grinding.

All metals including Aluminum, Steel, Stainless Steel, Titanium, and Aerospace alloys.  Plastics including Acetal/Delrin, ABS, UHMW, and Nylon.  

​Tolerances to .0002”/.005mm.  Climate controlled.

 

ENGINEERING

Along with the machining side, we also offer complete engineering services. We have a state of the art software and can handle all challenges. From concepts, we can create 3D models, 3D assemblies, and or complete 2D engineering drawings ready for manufacturing. We can provide manufacturing consultation (DFM -Design for Manufacturing) to help hone product designs to reduce manufacturing costs and times, working with your engineers and design team to save you money.​

Full inspection with GD&T, Complete AS9102.  First Article Inspection forms, complete

traceability, dye penetrant, and magnetic particle inspection.

TOOLING

We are experts at building parts for Aerospace tooling both build to print and design and build. We design and build many types of molds for composites, plastics, and foams to the highest standard of accuracy, fit, and finish. We design and build production fixtures of many types such as drill jigs, trimming fixtures, machining fixtures, inspection fixtures, and go/no-go gages.

Finishing processes include tumbling, media blasting, engraving, painting, anodizing, plating,

shot peening, mold texturing, and part texturing.  Welding including Arc, MIG, TIG, and Brazing.  Assembly of both sub-assemblies and complex end assemblies including pneumatic and electric.

 

CNC PROGRAMMING

DKS offers complete CNC programming services.  Our expertise in CNC programming and CAM software can have your spindles turning. We can work from standard engineering drawings or 3D models and Model-Based Definitions. We will consult with you to utilize your shops' existing tooling to minimize costs and time. Along with the program, you will receive complete setup information and all the necessary documentation to run the program and make good parts the first time.
